Hebron, a universal heritage to preserve
The historical inheritance of the Old City of Hebron is an exceptional universal heritage.
In the name of universal values, we call for an international advocacy through an International Committee to save the inheritance of the Old City of Hebron and regard it as an international common heritage for humanity.
We act urgently because this cultural wealth is threatened: buildings are systematically destroyed and the efforts of rehabilitation and conservation are being obstructed.
The international protection can preserve the universality of the place, and allow peace to prevail enabling the sustainable development of the area.
